Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address typed into a search form is sent to the outside provider furnishing the results. Our servers do not keep a copy of that query. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to answer.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregated activity to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and, when present, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How Data Is Used
Technical information supports site operation, fault diagnosis, traffic measurement, and content improvement. We neither sell lists of visitors nor build individual reader profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
Providers that host or maintain the service process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising vendors may receive the automatic data described above. Information is also disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site, and logs are retained only while needed for the purposes stated above. The site has no user accounts, so it stores no account password or visitor profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Florida Privacy Choices
Florida's Digital Bill of Rights, Fla. Stat. ยงยง501.701 through 501.722, may give eligible consumers rights concerning data maintained by a covered controller. Since we retain little information, a request will usually involve contact messages and server logs. Submit it through the Contact page. Government records remain subject to Florida Constitution article I, section 24 and Florida Statutes chapter 119, including applicable exemptions. Records held by Florida, Orange County, or Orlando remain under the relevant custodian's control, and any correction or exemption request must be sent to that office.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
